Aya Tamayo is one of the team members of the Angat Bayi. She is an advocate working for and with persons with disabilities, women and gender issues, and youth’s civic participation. Recently, she joined the Taumbayan Campaign, a platform for the Filipino Youth to push for their agenda in the upcoming 2022 Elections. She is also part of the Advocates of Inclusion, a loose coalition of professionals working towards a more inclusive society; and Feminist Media Lab, a living laboratory that explores and promotes feminism in media production and media studies. She is currently a Graduate Student of the UP Diliman College of Social Work and Development – M.A. Women and Development. In her free time with either beer or coffee, she enjoys either watching online e-sports events, reading a book, writing fiction stories (or scribbling paragraphs!), and channeling her childhood dream of being an anime or manga artist through drawing.
