Ms. Ilene A. De Jesus is currently the Administrative Officer of the UP Center for Women’s and Gender Studies and the Angat Bayi Women’s Empowerment Fellowship Program. Ms. de Jesus obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Community Development from the UP College of Social Work and Community Development and units in Master of Industrial Relations Major in Human Resource Management from the UP School of Labor and Industrial Relations.
Before the pandemic, while doing her professional work at the Center, she makes sure to have a work-life balance and do what she loves. She makes time for her muay Thai class, yoga, and sometimes a semi-aerialist. She is proud to mention in her bio that she is a certified “k-drama fanatic” and “loves Jung Hae-in and BTS”. Overall she is an outstanding employee, who gets the job done and does it well even under pressure. She is very professional, courteous, and friendly. She is very reliable especially on government rules, regulations, processes, and procedures as she is in the government sector for the past 13 years.
